If one word was used to describe the pre-tertiary educational journey, we received differing responses from students. Grueling. Effortless. Demanding. Regardless of the answers, we believe that the A Level General Paper was a meaningful subject that broadened their perspectives towards various issues. In the process of striving for excellence, our students were rewarded in their tireless efforts, in terms of emerging as a reflective thinker and prolific writer. Through our GP tuition programme, these students acquired writing and thinking skills that are transferrable and essential to the working world.

The Passionate and Disciplined Athlete
I graduated from Raffles Institution (Junior College) in 2015. I studied Economics and General Paper. Also, during the time for co-curricular activities (CCA), I joined the athletics team, particularly in the pole-vaulting discipline, and excelled in the sport as I entered the Singapore National Team. While it can be challenging to manage the time between studies and CCA, I triumphed at the end of the 2-year junior college route, attaining sterling results, particularly in the subject of General Paper. Through hard work and perseverance, I attained A for the A Level General Paper.

Also, his teaching approach focuses on refining the GP writing skills, such as the importance of paragraph development, rebuttal and causation writing. The classes are exam-oriented and Simon covers the different exam components of the A Level GP examination, such as summary writing and comprehension short answer questions. Preparing students for the future through our Student Internship Programme
Aside from the relentless pursuit for academic excellence, we also believe that students should accumulate working experience to be adequately prepared before entering the workforce. The rationale stems from the recent discussions over the growing concerns expressed by employers in many industries that few graduates are equipped with the relevant knowledge and skills to adapt to the rapidly-changing working environment. As such, we have introduced the inaugural Student Internship Programme that will bridge the gap as identified by the professionals in industries.
At the Internship Programme, we seek to achieve the following:
- Cultivate mental resilience in the face of adversities
- Inculcate teamwork and communication skills to promote confidence and effective cooperation in projects
- Nurture problem-solving skills by tackling industry-specific issues
- Imbue strong time management skills by handling varied tasks
- Develop leadership qualities by greater involvement in different aspects of the business development
If you are considering to hop on the bandwagon, we are looking for:
- Ambitious individuals who prefers to take the path less trodden
- Like-minded thinkers and do-ers that are hungry for success
- Givers who believe in motivating and nurturing others with similar aspirations
